Comments

Comments box needs to be checked under "Display and Convert."

SpreadsheetWEB established comment support for comments found within cells in Excel. This allows the user to convert comment boxes from their Excel spreadsheets into their web application. The comment boxes will be displayed to the end user when they place their cursor over the icon that appears next to the cell containing the comment. While the default comment icon is the same icon found in Excel, SpreadsheetWEB supports several alternative indicators.

SpreadsheetWEB allows the user to choose from three different comment icons to appear in the web application.

The comment conversion option can be found on the “Display and Convert” page of the SpreadsheetWEB Wizard and is enabled by default. Keeping the option enabled will automatically convert the comment boxes from the Excel spreadsheet into comment boxes in the web application. The 'Options' button next to the 'Comments' check box opens the comment options where the user can define the comment icon that will be seen in the web application.
