Using Javascript, end-users will be able to seamlessly integrate utilities hosted by other organizations with open APIs into their own web applications. Adding new script to an existing spreadsheet is as easy as writing Javascript code in an HTML editor. Developers will be able to reach HTML fields and even spreadsheet cells by adding Javascript/HTML codes from the script editing page. They will be able to validate their forms, override before and after calculation calls and even integrate 3rd party products such as Google Maps, PayPal, 3rd party charting and visualization products, etc… with their final web pages. Since scripting also supports adding HTML tags directly, users will be able to add new input fields, styles, embedded scripts, embedded objects (like Flash) directly to their final pages. Scripting gives unlimited flexibility to development-oriented users to integrate their custom web pages/parts with SpreadSheetWEB generated web pages.

Dashboard Reporting

A simple, user-friendly, browser based editor is used to create dashboards. Once created, a dashboard can be deployed to a select list of individuals through SpreadsheetWEB's application management module to ensure data security.

SpreadsheetWEB supports 8 types of sparkline charts including line, discrete bar, bar, area, pie, icon and scale. Sparklines enable users create rich dashboards and reports. Here are a few examples:

Web Services Support
SpreadsheetWEB includes two levels of support for Web Services. The first one is the ability to connect to a Web Service from inside Excel via a SpreadsheetWEB specific worksheet formula. The purpose of this feature is to bring data into an Excel file from external Web Services. An example can be getting real time stock prices for a given stock. SpreadsheetWEB will then maintain the web service connection in the Excel file when converted into a web application.
The second type of Web Services support allows an excel file, typically incorporating formulas, to be exposed as a web service allowing an external application to connect to this web service and retrieve information.
PivotTables®
Publish your Excel-based PivotTables® applications to the web. It is easy to create interactive online tables with SpreadsheetWEB. You can use these online reports to analyze data, make comparisons, detect patterns and relationships, and discover trends. Most common PivotTables® functionalities are supported.

Hide and Deactivate Sections of Web Applications: Design web applications that are easy to use. Let your users only see and fill in relevant areas of your web applications by hiding or deactivating areas of a web application depending on previous user input.
Validation Support: SpreadsheetWEB supports input validation function found in Excel. This function forces the end user to input a value that fits to certain rules that are supported within Excel including changing allowable values to solely whole numbers, decimals, dates, times, or within certain text lengths. Criteria within those ranges are also supported with functions such as “between, not between, equal to, not equal to, greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to, and minimum/maximum fields.”
Comment Support: SpreadsheetWEB supports comments found within cells in Excel. This allows the user to convert comment boxes from their Excel spreadsheets into their web application. The comment boxes will be displayed to the end user when they place their cursor over the icon that appears next to the cell containing the comment. While the default comment icon is the same icon found in Excel, SpreadsheetWEB supports several alternative indicators.
