The 'Attachment' input type allows files to be attached, saved, and uploaded to the SpreadsheetWeb Control Panel Online Database. It allows end-users to browse through their client-side documents and choose a file (of any file type) and upload it to the web application where it can later be accessed by a SpreadsheetWEB user who has Data Tab privilege for that particular web application. This allows SpreadsheetWEB users to collect data, information, and files by allowing end-users to upload their own files.
To assign the 'Attachment' input type to a cell, select 'Attachment' from the drop down menu as shown in the screenshot below.
This input type would typically be used in an application where someone must submit some sort of file. The attachment input allows the user to input any sort of file, including images, PDFs, excel file, or other documents. These files are then stored in the Data tab of the web application, where SpreadsheetWEB users can access all files that have been uploaded to the database, granted that they have Data tab privileges.
