How to provide a name for the web application

Enter a name in the text field marked Worksheet Name. If you want to use the default settings for the other settings, you can click "Next >>" now to go straight to the next step. Otherwise, the rest of the settings on this page are explained below.

Worksheet buttons

To perform calculations and other operations, SpreadsheetWEB adds buttons to the web application such as Calculate or Reset.

Standard Buttons

Click the check boxes to include buttons on the web page. If they remain unticked, then they will not be added to the finalized web application.

"Calculate" - Processes the user input and delivers output based on the functions included in the web application.
"Reset" - Resets the input cells to default values as defined during the conversion process in the Wizard.
"Save" - Saves data to a database; stored data can be viewed in the Control Panel or downloaded as an Excel compatible file.
"Enable Ajax based automatic calculations" - Activate this box to enable automatic calculations. Pressing the 'calculate' button is no longer required if this option is selected.

Back and Next - Create a back or next button on this tab of the web application. This is only available to web applications with multiple tabs. It allows the user to scroll through tabs without using the tab bar.

Export - Export this web page to a .PDF file. This allows you to have an offline copy of the web application in PDF form.

Custom - This allows for the creation of custom buttons. For more information, please see the Custom options overview.

Scripting - This allows for  Javascript/HTML scripting support. For more information, please see the Scripting options overview.

Button Position

SpreadsheetWEB allows for custom button positioning. Simply click the select button as indicated in the following screenshot. Select a cell in the worksheet to position the button.

If you do not define custom button positions they will be placed at the bottom of the web application.
