This template is a simple investment model that may be used for analyzing a single investment. Straight line, declining balance and sum of the years' digits methods may be used for depreciation. Initial inputs and projected growth rates are entered by the users to simulate the value and projected operating cash flows of the investment.
On the left-hand side, you can enter the details about your investment. Then, on the right-hand side, enter your projection for growth rates for each year. Note that these values are in fractions, not percentages. This means that you need to enter "0.10" if you are projecting 10% growth for that year. This table is dynamic, and can go up to 28 years. Finally, you will see the cash flow projections on the bottom-right table.
The workbook will be locked by default, and any cell that you can select is an input on the "Model" page. If you want to make changes in the formulas or layout, right-click the sheet name on the menu, and select Unprotect Sheet. This way, you can change the labels or formulas however you'd like.

How to Turn Excel Templates into Web Applications
You can turn this or any Excel file into a web application with SpreadsheetWeb. Delivering it as a web application helps protect your data and business logic. Your users can still access parts of your file, enter data and see the calculation results. But they won't be able to see the actual formulas nor modify them. Delivering your Excel file as a web application will allow many users accessing it at the same time while protecting their data. They cannot see each others data. Their data is fully protected.
The web application created from this Excel template is below:
