Cambridge, MA, July 2, 2018 (Newswire) – Pagos, Inc. has announced the release of version 6.2 of its SpreadsheetWEB software. Introducing new controls and modules for its web designer.
It’s no small task translating the entire calculation logic of a complicated Excel model into web languages, and these types of projects can take months, or even years. SpreadsheetWEB has shown success in reducing the time and effort this process requires, all the while allowing business professionals to convert their spreadsheets into web applications without the need of any IT involvement.
This update of the SpreadsheetWEB software focuses on adding new tools and enhancing the existing ones to help users create an even better user interface for their web applications. Accessible from the SpreadsheetWEB control panel, the designer moved the user interface design process from Excel spreadsheets to become an entirely web based. The drag-and-drop style interface builder now features new modules like the slider and listbox type of inputs. Also introduced in this version is the ability to add background images that can cover entire pages of web applications to give them a more customized feeling.
Another important feature that came with this version is recursive print processes. This new method of creating a print process allows users to use table named ranges to create repeating PDF pages. This means that users can now create dynamic tables and multi-page documents with ease.
”SpreadsheetWeb’s designer has been a very powerful feature to develop sophisticated and elegant web interfaces with no programming since it was first released about a year ago” said Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos, Inc. “adding new capabilities whether they are new user interface controls or ability to create complex proposal documents are all pieces of our grand vision of empowering business users to create applications without having to rely on IT.”
Pagos helps businesses translate their employees’ collective Microsoft Excel expertise into robust web applications, empowering them to create secure, responsive, database-driven applications directly from their Excel spreadsheets. This provides companies with a higher level of governance for critical information and – combined with built-in workflow and reporting capabilities – offers an end-to-end platform for business users seeking to create and manage their own web applications.
