Cambridge, MA, December 17, 2018 – Pagos, Inc. has today announced the release of the SpreadsheetWEB 6.6 version with new additions to the dashboard and designer modules to augment how businesses interact with, and present their Excel applications.

The two staples of the SpreadsheetWEB platform – designer and dashboard applications now welcome the addition of new map visualizations and grid modules with enhanced capabilities.

Excel’s grid structure allows developers to use this layout for combining input fields, as well as calculated fields within the same area. Grid style inputs and output tables on SpreadsheetWEB now offer more flexibility to achieve a similar functionality with the addition of an optional field to enable or disable each grid row, based on a Boolean field.

The custom roles in SpreadsheetWEB have been offering system administrators a way to fine-tune which parts of the system can each user access. This means a granulated access management system, with which businesses can customize the SpreadsheetWEB platform to their specific needs. This version also introduced a new user management structure, where custom user roles can be given rights to add or modify other user roles in the system. With this approach, it is now possible to create an ecosystem where system users can be tasked with internal management of the users.

The software’s recent transition to the new dashboard module was met with positive feedback from our users. With this version, filters in dashboard applications are now automatically updated based on other filter selections. This means that available filter options will be narrowed down if another filter is actively affecting those fields.

This version also features an updated calculation engine and new methods for handling designer export files. Calculations now run faster on the server-side, and are optimized to handle larger workloads.

“Our promise to our users is flexible a platform where they only need Excel expertise to build complicated, scalable web applications. We aim to aid business professionals by relieving them of the challenges that come with tedious IT tasks when building and maintaining web tools. In this version, we’ve added more features to give our users even more options when developing their web applications.” says Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos, Inc.
