Axiom Structures Uses SpreadsheetWeb to Build an Engineering Application from Their Spreadsheet Model without any Coding
The Challenge
Axiom Structures has been using Microsoft Excel to build complex models that perform various structural analysis calculations. At some point they needed to convert these Excel-based spreadsheets into web applications for their clients to find the appropriate product for themselves easily, leading to a quicker and more efficient purchasing process.
“We used to use Microsoft Excel since it was the easiest way. At some point, we needed a way to have our clients enter the information about their windows and doors themselves, so they can cross-check the appropriate product and then use the application to purchase sealed Engineering from us.”
The Solution
It was going to be time-consuming and costly to create this web application from scratch. Spending thousands of dollars to create a web application from their spreadsheet did not make financial sense to the company. So they started looking for a solution with a “No Code approach”.
“When we started looking for a solution through Google, we considered other alternatives besides SpreadsheetWeb, but the biggest reason why we chose to work with SpreadsheetWeb was the professional assistance and the database. SpreadsheetWeb is the only product that I know that has a database that can work with the spreadsheets. So, users are able to go to the database and retrieve a file is very useful and very important for them. Everything looks like a real professional setup, so I was very excited.''
.”
The Results
Axiom Structures was able to build their web application from scratch and release it to their customers in a noticeably shorter timeframe. Axiom Structures can now ensure that all their clients can cross-check and find the appropriate product for them, and their data is completely secure
“The process took about two weeks and was fast and effective, I was not even involved throughout much of the process. Now expect to save 10 hours and $1,000 in ROI on an approximate weekly basis''
