Cambridge, MA, August 13, 2018 – Pagos, Inc. today announced the release of SpreadsheetWEB 6.3, introducing a completely new dashboard module and an enhanced calculation engine.

Most businesses rely on Excel for financial modeling, data collection and analysis, reporting or similar applications. Many times, they build entire business operations in Excel. Having built such tools in the span of months, or maybe even years means that considerable time went into these projects and custom coding an entire application often takes much more than that. SpreadsheetWEB has been helping businesses turn these tools into web applications to allow for a centralized versioning control, full database integration, and scalability.

With this update, SpreadsheetWEB introduces a brand new dashboarding tool. Featuring an interactive layout and modern visualizations, these dashboard reports can be made accessible from the control panel or shared with any user. The new dashboard module supports dozens of different charts, diagrams, maps, gauges, and pivot tables.

We also updated our calculation engine to support the full number of 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns, which is Excel’s limit. The engine has also seen improvements in calculation logic to allow for even better performance.

Another feature added in this update is export to Excel capability in the designer. Print processes in the designer can now be set to create an Excel export, in addition to PDF.

“We designed SpreadsheetWeb’s core calculation engine to execute Excel formulas fast and under large concurrent user scenarios” said Ugur Kadakal, CEO of Pagos, Inc. “We have significantly improved the performance of our core calculations engine in this release while adding support for files with up to 1 million rows and 16 thousand columns.”
