We created the Designer for a seamless experience in building web applications. The drag-and-drop-style user interface builder of the Designer is easy to use for non-coders, while providing plenty of customization options. This version brings an auto-save feature for the Designer and Trello integration.
Everything you do in the user interface module during application development is already automatically saved into your active transaction. This way, you can quickly build your applications without worrying about saving your changes.
With this update, we took another step in streamlining the application process, and added an auto-save feature into the Designer’s user interface module. With this, you do not even need to press any buttons to save your changes to individual controls. Assign named ranges, change formatting, or any other setting, and simply click outside the control. All your changes will be kept in the system automatically. You will also see your changes reflected on the user interface builder as you make them.
Connecting third-party services to web applications typically involves using their API, and this means that you need to have some coding knowledge or hire someone to do this for you. To further our goal of removing any need for coding knowledge to use our system, we have been adding new Connectors, while also adding more integrations with third-party platforms.
Our latest integration, introduced with 6.23, is Trello. Trello is a list-based management and collaboration platform. You can build an interface and run complex calculations, like quoting tools, product configurators, or quoting tools directly from your Trello board with the new Trello integration. The setup process is very easy and takes only a few minutes. Please see our help page for Trello applications for more details.
We are also working on further expanding SpreadsheetWeb’s function with other tools, so stay tuned for a brand-new integration concept coming in the next version!
In addition to several bug fixes and performance improvements in this version, another focus of this update was data visualization controls in the Designer and Dashboard applications. We updated some of the existing charts, diagrams, and maps to make them even more flexible. The system should now fit labels, legends, or other chart elements more efficiently.
