As we greet the vibrant and sun-drenched summer season, we are thrilled to announce the addition of several fresh and exciting features to our platform. These changes have been carefully crafted to enhance your overall experience, providing more customization, and convenience. In this article, we aim to provide an overview of what's new, what's improved, and how you can make the most of these enhancements.

Auto-Save

In today's fast-paced digital world, time is of the essence. When working on applications or platforms that require frequent data input, it's not uncommon for users to forget to hit the manual save button, resulting in potential data loss. To address this issue, the Auto-Save feature comes to the rescue.

The Auto-Save feature is designed to enhance user experience by automatically saving data at regular intervals. This feature requires two key components: defined databases for your application and a save button within the user interface.

The primary advantage of the auto-save feature is its ability to prevent data loss. By saving data periodically, even if the user forgets to hit the manual save button, the application ensures that important information is safeguarded. Auto-saving data enhances the overall user experience by eliminating the need for users to constantly remember to save their work manually. It provides peace of mind, allowing users to focus on their tasks without the worry of losing unsaved progress.

By incorporating the Auto-Save feature into your application, you provide users with a convenient and user-friendly experience. They no longer need to remember to save their work manually, as the system takes care of it automatically. This feature simplifies the user experience and improves overall satisfaction. Handling Old, Unused Transactions

One of the new features in SpreadsheetWeb Hub allows for the cleaning of old and unused transactions. This serves an important purpose for users. Over time, as users update the application and create various transactions, the database can become cluttered with unnecessary data. This can lead to database bloating, affecting system performance and efficiency. The added support for cleaning transactions addresses this issue by providing users with the ability to configure and execute a removal process for outdated and unused transactions.

By configuring this feature, users can gain control over their database's cleanliness and optimize its performance. The system automatically triggers the removal process if an application has more than 10 transactions. However, the feature is designed to retain the most recent 10 transactions, ensuring that users have access to their recent data. Additionally, transactions started within the last 30 days or those associated with a saved record are also exempt from deletion. This careful selection of retention criteria ensures that essential and relevant transactional data is preserved while removing unnecessary clutter.

Deleting the Primary Database Table

The next feature introduced in SpreadsheetWeb Hub is the ability to remove the primary database tables in an application, addresses a crucial need for users who inadvertently added databases they didn't intend to include. In the past, removing the primary table was restricted due to the potential risk of data loss. However, with this latest update, users now have the option to rectify their mistakes and remove mistakenly added databases without compromising the integrity of their data.

This feature was designed to enhance the user experience and provide a solution for situations where users accidentally added unnecessary or incorrect databases to their applications. By allowing the removal of the primary table, SpreadsheetWeb Hub empowers users to maintain accurate and relevant data within their applications, reducing clutter and ensuring data consistency. This capability eliminates the frustration of having to recreate an application from scratch or manually delete irrelevant data entries.
